Resource Officer
Key Performance Areas:
- Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
- Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid these risks.
- Ensure all requirements for each approved work package are delivered and completed according to the scheduled timeline.
- Determine and validate promised supply dates to ensure alignment with task requirements.
- Collate all required materials and tools for each work package and task in advance.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials, tools, and services to the designated workplace before the scheduled task start time.
- Track and monitor all deliveries in accordance with each task package.
- Escalate any item where the supply date risks missing the scheduled start time to avoid delays.
- Expedite supplies as required, maintaining close coordination with the logistics team.
- Devise a daily logistics plan and communicate it to the supervisor for implementation.
- Manage the return of unused goods, ensuring they are restocked.
- Prepare and maintain reports and records in the appropriate format.
- Identify potential conflict situations and take steps to minimize their impact.
- Effective two-way open communication with colleagues and line supervisors.
- Prepare and present KPI reports to track performance and support decision-making.
- Report defects and abnormalities to the appropriate supervisor or manager for prompt resolution.
Your Profile:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics/ Materials Management.
- Planning, Scheduling or materials management Experience.
- SAP Competent.
- Must be familiar with risk assessments safe working procedures.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- At least 3 years Supply Chain Experience in Mining/Process Industry
