Logistics Supervisor

Are you a team player with strong logistics aptitude who wants to work for an industry leading global company? We at Sandvik Rock Processing are the leading supplier of equipment and services for the mining and construction industry. At our Lahti site we engineer and manufacture industry leading hydraulic hammers and other hydraulic attachments for maximum productivity.

We are now looking for experienced Logistic Supervisor for our team in Lahti, Finland. This is a full-time, on-site permanent position. The main objective in this position is to ensure efficient internal logistics at Lahti production unit.

Your role

The responsibilities of a Logistic Supervisor include monitoring and developing our logistics network to ensure availability of our products and aftermarket parts in accordance with inventory management and networking capital targets. In addition, you and your team’s responsibilities include inbound and outbound logistics coordination. You will lead a team of 12 logistic professionals and work in close cooperation with production supervisors to be efficient and agile in operations.

Your background and what we find important

We are looking for someone who has good leadership skills and a problem-solving attitude with passion for development. You are a strong team player with proven leadership and skills, dedicated to open communication and collaboration with our stakeholders. As stakeholders are both local and global, having fluent English and Finnish skills is essential. From educational background we are looking for someone with Logistic Engineer background and logistics or supply chain experience minimum of five years. We appreciate experience of today’s digitalization requirements with IT-infrastructure and warehouse management systems.
