Sandvik Mining and Construction USA, LLC, headquartered in Smyrna, GA, is looking for a Sourcing Professional

Your performance areas:

The Sourcing Professional position is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, processes, and analysis techniques for the sourcing of parts and equipment for mining products, mining equipment and related technology for the mining industry.

Key responsibilities include:

· Execute procurement decisions to support the needs of key users and stakeholders.

· Support the successful delivery of sourcing project outcomes for mining equipment parts and services through the use of systematic processes and timely project completion.

· Execute the effective delivery of mining product delivery projects by determining project timelines, objectives and monitoring the activities of project teams, keeping all members and stakeholders informed of progress.

· Provide guidance on the sourcing process for mining parts and equipment and day-to-day operational activities for mining equipment product dissemination.

· Develop and oversee multiple and simultaneous transactional supplier selection and negotiation processes, ensuring key stakeholder involvement in the determination of supplier requirements, specifications, selection criteria, review of proposals and negotiations.

· Support the onboarding of suppliers, and measure and monitor compliance with contracts.

· Create, negotiate and implements supplier contracts.

· Participate in supplier relationship activities and continued sourcing process improvement.

Your profile:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration

· Five (5) years of experience as Purchasing Agent, Buyer, Sourcing Specialist or Supply Chain Coordinator.

· The required five(5) years of experience must have included sourcing, procurement, purchasing, and supply chain coordination for manufactured equipment and parts for the mining products industry; the development and selection of new suppliers; and negotiating and overseeing supplier contracts for mining equipment parts and products.

· Up to 15% domestic and international travel required.

· May telecommute from home within the continental U.S.
