Currently, we have an opening for a Sourcing Specialist. In this role, your primary responsibility is to ensure consistent parts availability and timely delivery by identifying and implementing alternative sourcing strategies. The role also focuses on resolving supply chain challenges, addressing root cause issues, and driving process improvements to support seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the process of sourcing parts with critical supply and long lead times.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and local vendors to find immediate local solutions or alternatives, including workshops, new machines, and refurbished parts.

  • Develop and maintain effective sourcing networks, including global and local warehouses, authorized local suppliers, and parts alternatives (assemblies).

  • Provide access to technical information during machine emergencies to facilitate quick resolutions.

  • Work closely with Customer Service Support Representatives to ensure clear and consistent communication with customers.

  • Monitor the reasons behind parts shortages and develop strategies with various departments to mitigate these issues.

  • Actively lead in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring along

  • 5–7 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and principles.

  • Proficient in tools like SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and respond thoughtfully.

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in complex scenarios.

  • Experienced in identifying root causes and leading resolution efforts.

  • Professional, positive demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, especially in emergency response situations.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under general supervision.
