Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

1. Pre-Sales Technical Support

Provide technical assistance to sales personnel regarding technical proposals, configuration lists, technical specifications, technical proposal documents, technical agreements/technical deviation sheets, and bid technical documentation.

2. Customer Technical Communication & Solution Clarification

Deliver product functionality presentations, facilitate technical exchanges, and address technical clarifications/confirmations for clients.

3. Sales Support & Internal Coordination

Collaborate with sales personnel:

- Participant in key project

- Provide technical clarification to build client trust

- Coordinate internal resources (R&D/Process, Manufacturing, After-Sales/Service)

- Ensure technical solutions are manufacturable, deliverable, and serviceable.

4. Pre- and Post-Delivery Technical Support: Facilitate pre-delivery technical verification, assist with: technical modifications; initial customer operational issues; establish technical foundations for future resales and capacity expansions

5. Industry & Product Knowledge Accumulation: Continuously track mining industry trends, new methodologies, and equipment applications; contribute to product improvement proposals; develop benchmark project solutions and standardized configurations

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher

Major: Mechanical Design and Automation, Mining Engineering, Mechatronics; mining/construction machinery background preferred

2. Experience: 3–5 years in mining machinery roles (design engineer, product application engineer, technical support, field technical engineer); familiarity with mining conditions and equipment selection

3. Essential Professional Competencies

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in at least one category of primary mining equipment, including technical specifications and product functionality

Ability to independently complete: Equipment selection and technical solution documentation

4. Communication & Business Acumen

Ability to explain technical concepts in “customer-friendly language” beyond mere specifications

Capacity to evaluate solutions from the customer's perspective

Willingness to travel frequently for mine site visits and strong collaboration with sales teams

5. Fluent English
