Site Support Team Leader / Site Supervisor

Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as Site Supervisor based in Batu Hijau, Sumbawa.

This position is responsible for maintenanance DR412i for making sure the machine has good performance, high standart, and safety

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

  • Prepare and enforce Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prior to work execution.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and workshops.

  • Safeguard and maintain company assets in accordance with site and Sandvik standards.

Operational Supervision

  • Supervise daily operational and maintenance activities, including direct oversight of high-risk tasks.

  • Ensure readiness of tools, spare parts, and support equipment for scheduled and unscheduled work.

  • Conduct pre-inspection checks prior to scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM).

  • Support operational and maintenance teams to achieve equipment performance and availability targets.

Manpower & Shift Coordination

  • Plan and adjust manpower allocation per shift based on operational needs.

  • Ensure effective deployment of personnel to maintain productivity and safety.

Planning, Reporting & Data Accuracy

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and bi-weekly operational reports.

  • Ensure accuracy of daily inspections, backlog records, downtime data, and SOS reports.

  • Maintain component change-out reports and historical equipment data.

  • Reconcile downtime reports (MEH / MORS) to reflect actual field conditions.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Actively support and communicate with customer maintenance and operations teams.

  • Respond to operational queries and provide accurate technical and performance information.

  • Coordinate with internal Sandvik teams to ensure smooth operational execution.

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE

  • As the matrix organization you will be collaborating with many people within Sandvik in both global and SEA regions, including Business Line Managers and factories in Tampere and Alachua.

  • Champion a proactive and visible commitment to Sandvik’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Vision and culture, embedding "Zero Harm" as a strategic business priority.

  • Ensure EHS leadership is integrated into strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational objectives.

  • Provide adequate resources, policies, and systems to support EHS performance and continual improvement.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all levels to drive sustainable EHS performance.

  • Regularly review EHS performance metrics and lead improvement initiatives based on trends, audits, and incidents.

  • Ensure effective communication of EHS priorities and expectations to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate exemplary EHS behavior and ensure the organization complies with Sandvik global EHS Policy, ISO 14001/45001, and SMKP requirements.

  • Empower all employees to stop and report any work that appears unsafe or could cause harm, without fear of retaliation.

PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT & MOBILITY

  • Field - Any environment (Location Customer Sites / Workshops).

  • Willing to travel globally within Sandvik area and/or from site to site within country of Indonesia.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 8 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in the mining or heavy equipment industry.

  • Proven track record in maintaining and troubleshooting Sandvik or similar OEM mining equipment (e.g., loaders, drill rigs, underground trucks).

  • Have advanced basic knowledge in CAN bus system and Hydraulic system

  • Experience working in site project min 4 years

  • Intermediate English proficiency (CEFR Level B1).
