Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a global leading supplier in equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and infrastructure industries. The Role: Apprentice.

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and ambitious individuals to join our Apprenticeship Programme.

Disciplines to be trained:

  • Millwright Work.
  • Diesel Plant Fitting.
  • Instrumentation and Control.

Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 “O” levels at grade C or better (English, Mathematics and Science).
  • Applicants for Instrumentation and Control must have at least 2 “A” level Science Subjects and Mathematics at grades B or better.
  • Be aged between 17 and 23 years by December 2025.
  • A valid Drivers’ or Provisional Driver’s License.
  • A clearance letter from the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education. (Mechanical/Electrical Industry).
  • A written application letter.
  • Copies of birth certificates, national id, valid Drivers’/Provisional license and educational certificates.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with higher educational and technical qualifications (National Certificate) and any experience on a mine or heavy engineering environment as an Artisan Assistant.
