Sales Area North Central Europe is looking for Sales Cluster Manager Middle Europe

As a Sales Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for executing Sandvik Coromant’ s sales strategy through both direct and indirect channels. You’ll lead a team of first line sales managers, engage directly with customers, and ensure the achievement of sales growth, product and services` objectives in alignment with our local business plan.

Key performance areas

You will lead and develop a team of First Line Regional Sales Managers. This includes setting clear objectives, managing performance, and coaching your team in using data-driven insights, while making sure the customer relations are effectively managed. You will be a role model to Sandvik’s core values and compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Collaborate with Sales Area management to set strategic goals, forecasts and targets

  • Ensure strong financial discipline within assigned geographical territory, balancing sales results and managing Administrative and Sales (A&S) expense.

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans in the assigned geography to achieve Sandvik Coromant goals and objectives.

  • Responsible for ensuring targets and objectives are clearly defined and set for the Regional Sales Managers.

  • Responsible for individuals’ performance management (including corrective action where needed) to achieve agreed local business plan targets and objectives.

  • Ensures that Customer Value Plans are developed to secure market share is maintained or increased within identified customers in line with the Account Development Strategy.

  • Liaises and supports Sales Area Manager in providing accurate forecasts, budgets and targets for business control reporting.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize resources and secure profitable business.

Team Development and People Management

  • Manage the Regional Sales Managers’ performance and results though establishing overall sales budget and cascading it to individual Regional Sales Managers’ goals and objectives.

  • Monitor results against these objectives and act accordingly.

  • Utilizes Power BI and Dynamics as data sources for coaching and development of Sales Managers.

  • Conduct employee performance reviews and development plan according to the company process completing necessary steps by the deadlines specified.

  • Coach and provide on the job training and development.

  • Provides talent development and succession planning through coaching.

  • Drive and apply Sandvik Core Values and Code of Conduct in all business and personal dealings, drive team to adopt and apply the Safety-first culture.

Your profile

For you to succeed in this role, we require that you lead and develop business and people in line with Sandvik Leadership Model and Sandvik Core Values, you maintain structured and business orientated approach to manage a diverse and geographical team.

You must be a strong and clear communicator that ensures business results are met in line with targets, you possess the coaching skills and ability to develop successors and talents, at the same time role requires experience in resource optimization.

Besides excellent sales competence, you need a strong finance acumen and knowledge of marketing English knowledge is a must.
