Technology Manager

The role is based on site in the South Gobi on a FIFO basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Technology team, assigning responsibilities and providing clear direction.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across OT and Sandvik backline to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Participate in steering committees for upcoming project rollouts.
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to the team as needed.
- Deliver feedback to the factory regarding system issues and potential updates or upgrades.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines.
- Facilitate training and upskilling initiatives to enable effective operation and maintenance of Sandvik Technology products.
- Maintain Sandvik technology systems and hardware (e.g., AutoMine Fleet, Manual Production Monitoring, OptiMine MDP, Proximity Detection System Interface) in line with OEM recommendations.
- Organize and delegate daily tasks within the Technology team.
- Plan and allocate workloads effectively across the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven leadership experience.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical performance of components and systems.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Sandvik Automation systems.
- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience managing small-scale projects and budgets.
- Ability to analyze system component interactions and relationships.
- Training in Networks, IP, and Vehicle Control Systems.
- Proficiency in English.
