Sales Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating clearly and effectively to managers, team-members and other relevant departments
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to meet business objectives and drive growth.
  • Provide Account Management cadence for a customer as delegated by Sales Manager and make account business plans.
  • Discover and identify white spots and identify if there is any opportunity follow up and develop it further sales cycle
  • Lead the product deployment with the customer and internal stakeholders
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Sandvik product offerings and market trends to identify opportunities for offering customized solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers and the market.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end tender process, including research, submission preparation, and post-evaluation analysis, to ensure successful participation in relevant procurement opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media presence, ensuring that the company's brand is effectively represented online.
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing events, exhibitions, local product launches, and sponsorship agreements that align with sales targets.
  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective and efficient use of resources and alignment with sales goals.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate customer information and relevant sales activities.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of promotional and merchandise items, as well as sales collateral such as brochures and product sheets, to ensure adequate availability for sales and marketing initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Ability to speak and write in both English and Mongolian fluently.
