Are you a passionate and driven sales professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of Sandvik Mining by promoting, selling, and supporting our cutting-edge product line to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share in your territory. Your success will be built on forging strong, long-term relationships with our customers by deeply understanding their business needs. This key role will provide both mentorship and leadership to our western Canadian technical sales teams.

What you will be doing
Drive Sales Success: Promote and sell Sandvik Mining products to exceed sales targets.
Customer Champion: Provide exceptional support and service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Relationship Builder: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Strategic Thinker: Understand customer business needs and tailor innovative solutions.
Market Analyst: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Team Collaborator: Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences
Safety and Sustainability Advocate: Lead the way in demonstrating our focus on EHS with our teams and our customers while ensuring that sustainability is always considered in our business decisions.
What you will bring along
Degree (or two-year college diploma) and or equivalent demonstrated technical knowledge/expertise.
Experience or exposure to surface drilling (mining, construction or oil well)
Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
A leadership/mentorship mindset to support team development while driving the activities required to deliver a superior customer experience.
Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
Able to quickly understand internal and external customer processes to identify opportunities to create value
Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
A passion for the pursuit of your own professional growth and development
Highly refined time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Computer Literacy using computerized inventory and sales systems
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Willingness and ability to travel greater than 50 % of the time
Valid Passport
