Export Sales Manager North & West Africa, Crushing and Screening

Within this business area, Sandvik Mining and Construction France sells its equipment in France, Benelux and North Africa and to a certain extend West Africa. We are looking for a Export Sales of Crushing and Screening equipment manager.


Manage export sales of Crushing and Screening equipment & aftermarket to customers and distributors within North & West Africa sales territory, including other French speaking countries in the region. Retain and grow business with existing customers & distributors and generate sales from new customers internally and externally in sales territory. To anticipate and understand customer needs and match them with our product offering to maximize customer value and sales profit.

Develop distributor network and optimizing go to market model within existing with primary focus of dealership development network, opportunity to grow withing international environment in matrix organization.

Pursue sales activities both direct and indirect; visit existing and new distributors; assess customer and distributors needs; respond to more complex customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. To collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence to product and sales management by using the applicable systems.

Establish annual, quarterly, monthly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met. Join customers visits, stock analysis, reports, responsible for quarterly forecast and annual budget for responsible area.

Reporting and following all equipment and aftermarket opportunities with using tools such as Salesforce / CRM etc. Active participation in Training sessions, seminars, sales meetings, area meetings, Info days etc. Promoting sales campaigns, organizing trainings, and developing dealer’s product knowledge expertise.


You have a technical degree (Engineer school) with at least a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing an sales activities.

Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces; problem solving and result oriented personality; 10 years of sales experience in industrial sector of infrastructure and mining, 5 years minimum managerial of remote teams.

You have a good technical knowledge in electricity, mechanics and hydraulics. Strong knowledge of Crushing and Screening equipment’s will be a major asset. Candidates without this experience will not be accepted for further steps;
Leadership and relationship building skills, multitasking advance skills mandatory; openminded, multicultural experience.

Experience working with outside France, with North & West Africa countries

Able to regular international travel when needed; CRM experienced user; Sales Force knowledge nice to have. To be successful in this role, you will be proactive, comfortable in a matrix and multicultural work environment and possess strong communication skills.

Fluency in English is required for this position as well as significant and successful experience in team management. French language is also required to communicate with your team and customers.
