Key Responsibilities

The TSD and Warranty Manager will provide parts and warranty support through his/her team for both the Rotary Division team members and Sales Areas. This support will include aftermarket offering input, parts queries, setting up parts, processing warranties, strategic parts requests for new models, special parts & and kits quotations, recommended spare parts lists, and determining parts usage & and operating cost models.

  • Manage a team of technical service desk and warranty specialists.
  • Support division and sales areas with part technical queries
  • Quotation for special kits and assemblies
  • Resolve CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) cases related to parts & warranty.
  • Review of safety & service bulletins
  • Setup of parts with correct cost drivers
  • Parts predictive operating cost models for new equipment
  • Recommended spare parts lists for new equipment or on-request.
  • Review & and input to parts manuals
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


High school or GED required with relevant technical experience. Technical college or bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • 10 years of assembly or supporting mining equipment.
  • 5+ years assembly of mining equipment (preference Rotary Drills).
  • 3+ years’ experience managing a team, supervising people, coaching, or developing or leading others.


  • Social skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with people and other departments on all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in taking the initiative and being self-directed; ability to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes stressful environment.

Technical Aptitude

  • Technical knowledge of Rotary Drills, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical.
  • Familiar with Engineering drawings: pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of surface mining and machinery equipment is a plus.


  • Good understanding of Bills of Material structures.
  • Understanding pricing, margins, and quotation experience.

Computer Skills

  • Experience with Office 365, Advanced Excel, Microsoft Teams, Teamcenter, Salesforce, System21, LEAN.
