Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to build, grow and lead a software development team that will develop modules of a specialized CAD/CAM software product. You will own technical direction, people leadership, and delivery excellence for the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and test software to resolve defects and implement new functionality

- Lead, mentor, and grow software engineering team

- Manage software development projects and proactively communicate status

- Define technical roadmap and architecture in collaboration with product management

- Drive best practices in C/C++/C#.NET/Java development, code quality, and performance

- Ensure on-time delivery with high quality and scalability

- Participate in design reviews, architecture decisions, and critical problem solving

- Proactively participate in backlog refinement, estimation and prioritization Collaborate with global stakeholders and customers

Qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science / mechanical engineering or equivalent.

- 10+ years of CAD/CAM/CAE software development experience, with 3+ years in managing software development team(s).

- Strong hands-on experience in C, C++, Java, C#.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio, Eclipse

- Experience developing for Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio

- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and large codebases

- Experience with agile software development Excellent communication and people skills
