R&D Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you intrigued by the idea of working in a leading, global development center for stone crushers?

At business area Rock Processing and our division Product Offering and R&D, we’re looking for a tech savvy Mechanical Design Engineer. We offer you the freedom and responsibility needed to lead innovation – welcome to a team with high potential and an encouraging group dynamic!

About your job

In this role, you’re part of a small, skilled team working on the design and development of Cone Crushers. You’re involved in the entire process – from concept to finished product – giving you varied and flexible workdays with the freedom to plan your tasks independently. Your job includes implementing upgrades and improvements to existing products, while driving enhancements in cost, sustainability, quality and risk. You also contribute to defining requirements for future developments and continuously growing your technical expertise. International travel to meet customers is a natural part of the job, and over time, the position offers great opportunities to take on more responsibility and evolve into a leadership role.

The location for this position is Svedala – a fast and easy commute from close cities like Malmö, Lund and Copenhagen – with our site located just across the train station.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with a degree within a relevant area, or the equivalent experience gained from working. In your previous assignments, you’ve independently managed and driven development projects. A few years’ experience in a similar role – preferably in heavy industry – is beneficial. Experience of working in SolidWorks and Teamcenter is a plus. Acting in an international setting calls for great skills in English, verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish are and advantage.

You’re an open-minded, self-going, honest and cooperative team player who sets ambitious targets, delivers promises and follows through. You have a passion for learning and adding customer value. You thrive in an environment where you get to collaborate with others to reach goals and, with great communication skills, you easily connect and build long-term relationships with others.
