Shift Quality Coordinator( Electrical)

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Join our team and ensure top-notch quality standards in a dynamic environment!

Job Purpose

To ensure consistent product quality during manufacturing shifts by monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and driving corrective actions in line with company standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure adherence to quality standards during production.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of assembly & subassembly as per specifications.
  • Monitor critical quality parameters and escalate deviations if any.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and coordinate with production for corrective actions.
  • Maintain defect logs and initiate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Maintain shift-wise quality reports, inspection records, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, and Lean practices.
  • Suggest improvements in inspection methods and quality checkpoints.
  • Carry out detailed audit in a safe way to highlight deviations from manufacturing & assembly processes Communicate the findings to assembly teams in agreed formats.
  • Involvement & conduct function inspection at the time of drilling along with production team.
  • Involvement in the FAT & SAT testing on localizing components.
  • Plan training to assemblers to reduce audit points covering good assembly practices and inputs from audit findings / Customer complaints.
  • Support functional troubleshooting & issue resolutions

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in quality assurance/Production in off-road vehicle or heavy manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of assembly process, mining product added advantage.
  • Hands on experience & knowledge of hydraulic & electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Familiarity with tools like basic quality tools & gauges.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
