Quality Officer

Are you driven by a passion for precision and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Officer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining compliance with our Quality Management System, inspecting products and equipment, and ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards. Your work will help us deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions to our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Quality Compliance Champion: Monitor and maintain adherence to the Quality Management System across manufacturing operations.
  • Inspection Expert: Conduct product and equipment inspections, record results, and analyse data to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Reporting Specialist: Create and review manufacturing data reports, non-conformance reports, and inspection test plans.
  • Supplier Assessor: Evaluate suppliers to ensure products and services meet required quality benchmarks.
  • Technical Interpreter: Read and interpret drawings and reports to provide clear quality guidance to stakeholders.
  • Improvement Driver: Identify and implement visible improvements within the Quality Management System.
  • Team Collaborator: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support quality outcomes and foster a culture of excellence.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Professional: Relevant trade qualifications and experience in manufacturing or mining environments.
  • Inspection Experience: Proven background in quality inspection and reporting.
  • Fabrication Familiarity: Understanding of metal fabrication and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes.
  • Detail-Oriented Analyst: Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using quality administration systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).
  • Collaborative Communicator: Open, respectful, and honest communication style with a commitment to stakeholder service.
  • Safety Advocate: Dedicated to personal and team safety, aligned with our Zero Harm vision.
