Product Support Engineer

The Lahti-based unit is responsible for the attachment tools and screens & feeders equipment business.

We are now looking for Product Support Engineer to join us in Screening Solutions Division. This is a permanent position, and work will primarily be conducted in Lahti; however, the location may be negotiated on an individual basis.

Your Mission

In this role, you will provide technical and commercial product support to Sandvik’s sales companies internationally, alongside general offering management related responsibilities. Your tasks will include assisting with technical specifications, equipment selection for various applications, handling special customer requests for customized products, and providing commercial information such as lead times and pricing. You will also contribute to customer project management and coordination activities on a case-by-case basis. Collaboration with sales companies, engineering, production, and other key stakeholders will be an essential part of your work.

Your Background

To succeed in this position, you should have a relevant technical education (master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering) and be proficient in common design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Strong skills in MS Office tools are also required. You are highly self-directed, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. A solution-oriented mindset and a systematic approach to work are essential for success. Previous experience in international industrial, mining or infrastructure business, knowledge of crushing and screening processes, and/or experience in product and sales support will be considered an advantage. As part of our international environment, you must have a good command of English and be willing to travel.
