Product Line Manager, Rock Drills and Digitalization
The Rock Drills Technology Unit is responsible for the product development, supply and support of premium rock drill offering for Surface Drilling and Underground Drilling applications as well as for global aftermarket and service. Our expertise in best-in-class rock drilling technology is recognized globally, and it drives us to continue excel through innovation in rock drills, digital products and supply chain excellence. We pride ourselves on delivering the most reliable rock drills in the world that meet and exceed customer safety and productivity needs.
We are now looking for a Product Line Manager, Rock Drills and Digitalization. This position is full-time, permanent and located at Tampere Myllypuro site. Your mission is to lead the Rock Drills product line team to deliver best in class rock drills offering and support to drive the growth in equipment business and aftermarket. You are key driver of our strategy and valued member of Rock Drills Technology Unit management team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop Rock Drills product portfolio to increase product performance and create value for customers
- Own and develop rock drills product segmentation through customer division segmentation models and external customer segmentation
- Own and develop rock drills new product development processes to ensure high quality, lean, transparent and engaged follow through of NPD projects
- Drive development of new innovative digital offering opportunities unlocking the value of data
- Drive creation of value selling materials to show case the true customer benefit of our solutions and offering
- Ensure timely and strong reaction to defend Sandvik products related IP globally
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining, Engineering or Business or related technical discipline
- Several years’ progressive experience in product management, product development, or digitalization
- Proven track record of creating value through fit for purpose offering management
- Structured, analytical and keen interest of customers’ challenges
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in English is mandatory to be successful in the role
