Product Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality technical support and ensuring product reliability in challenging environments? At Sandvik Mining we’re currently looking for a Product Support Specialist to join us in our Ground Support Division, located in Mikolow, Poland.

Being part of our Global Products Chemical Systems team, you will work closely with our Product Managers, Sales Representatives, R&D team and Production team, to deliver customer excellence and to make the world of underground construction safer.

What you will be doing:

  • Support our Product Managers and Key Account Managers of Chemical products with trials and demonstrations as well as product modification requests and certification processes.
  • Provide technical support for injection resins and chemical agents used in underground construction, including mining and tunnelling applications.
  • Conduct certification processes and application testing, in our laboratory and at customer sites to ensure optimal product performance under underground conditions.
  • Act as the primary contact for providing Help Desk support and technical guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including product datasheets, safety data sheets (SDS), and application guidelines tailored to underground construction needs.
  • Support field teams and customers during product trials, application processes, and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Investigate product-related issues, analyse root causes, and recommend actions.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance of our chemical products with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to adapt products to specific geological and structural requirements.
  • Cooperate closely with the production department to ensure a smooth implementation of new chemical products and formulations into the manufacturing processes.

What we are looking for:

  • A higher degree in a technical or technical related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company.
  • Profound knowledge of materials chemistry testing procedures, polymer chemistry and analytical techniques.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and understanding of the physical and chemical processes involved in production processes.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams internationally and to prepare as well as communicate instructions effectively.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach combined with a strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mentality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
