Senior Product Manager - Digital Plateform

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead the definition, launch, and scalable evolution of a new software platform.

This platform will be the foundation for our future software suite, supporting high-value workflows, scalable data infrastructure, and seamless collaboration across enterprise ecosystems and manufacturing flow.This is a strategic role, combining deep product thinking, cross-functional leadership, and technical execution. You will grow and lead the core platform product team, while collaborating across multiple product portfolios and business units within Sandvik.

Your Mission

· Own the vision execution and the roadmap for the Software Platform—from concept to scaled and modular deployment. Drive relentlessly execution on the value proposition

· Translate complex technical and domain requirements into intuitive, workflow-based software experiences.

· Lead, shape, and grow a cross-functional platform product team (including product owners, and technical leads).

· Collaborate closely with:

o Product owners and specialists across the Business Unit product portfolio

o Peers across other Sandvik business units contributing to intelligent manufacturing

o Technical and commercial stakeholders to ensure strategic fit across the group

· Built for future connectivity and integration, this platform will serve as a carrier for real-time collaboration and smart decision-making across the manufacturing ecosystem.

· Ensure architectural decisions enable data-driven insights, workflow orchestration, and multi-user collaboration.

· Drive product development in line with Agile software methodologies, working closely with engineering teams.

· Prioritize feature development based on customer value, technical feasibility, and most importantly business impact.

· Be a strong internal and external evangelist of the platform vision, ensuring alignment with broader digital strategies and product families.

· Define success criteria for the product, track it, and use for data-driven further decisions

What You Bring

· 8+ years of experience in software product management, with at least 3 years leading platform or enterprise software products.

· Background in digital manufacturing, metrology, quality systems, or industrial software (e.g., QMS, MES, PLM, IIoT).

· Demonstrated success building and scaling software platforms, ideally for B2B/industrial use cases.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, define MVPs, and iterate timely based on feedback.

· Experience in designing and enabling data workflows, APIs, and enterprise integrations.

· Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial functions.

· Strategic thinker with excellent communication and facilitation skills.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent business training is a plus.

· Proficiency in English is a must, French is a great advantage, other languages will be a plus
