Service Development Manager

At our Mining business area, we’re committed to making mining safer, smarter and more sustainable. As our new Service Development Manager, you take lead in shaping how we deliver service – from workshops to field service operations – across Northern Europe.

If you’re passionate about people, processes, and progress, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

Why join us?

We believe in collaboration, responsibility, and bold ideas. You’ll work in a hybrid role based in Järfälla or Kiruna, with the flexibility to travel across Nothern Europe. You’ll be part of a team that values inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement – helping us build a safer, more efficient future for our customers and people.

About your job

In this position, you oversee and develop our service departments in Nothern Europe and workshops at both strategic and operational levels. You ensure we meet high standards in safety, health and environment and introduce smart tools like engine diagnostics, and oil sampling into daily routines and increase the level of predictive maintenance. Another important focus is the incorporation of digital equipment data into everyday service work, along with the standardization of processes across regions.

You lead competence development by designing impactful training programs, introducing digital learning tools, and collaborating closely with HR and local leaders. Building a strong technical support network and enabling seamless knowledge sharing across teams and divisions is your key to success!

About you

We’re looking for someone with a technical education or a bachelor's degree and solid experience in service operations – ideally related to mining or construction machinery. Your previous roles involved leading technician teams and have given you the tools to easily coach and facilitate learning. You’re comfortable and proficient with digital tools and are willing to familiarize yourself with specific systems. You’re ready to take on a role with frequent travel within northern Europe based on business needs. Acting in global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English.

You bring energy, initiative, and drive to make things better. As a clear and confident communicator, you thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working closely with others to reach shared goals. Taking ownership comes naturally to you – whether it’s your own tasks or supporting your team. Most importantly, you’re passionate about growth, both your own and that of the people around you.
