We currently have an opening for a Marketing Professional supporting Sales Area Canada. In this role, you will execute marketing and sales support activities, create and optimize marketing campaigns, and help drive Sandvik’s transition toward a more digitally focused marketing strategy. You will attract and engage new and existing customers through digital media, social platforms, events, trade shows, and one‑to‑one marketing while ensuring all activities are effective, on‑brand, and aligned with our business goals.

What you will be doing:
- Coordinate planning and execution for in‑person trade shows, conferences, and product launches, including logistics, service orders, shipping, and contractor management.
- Coordinate planning for sponsorship activities, including content development, audience engagement strategies, and contractor oversight.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of events.
- Develop and execute online advertising campaigns using Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- Create content for digital trade media, including customer testimonials, interviews, editorials, and white papers, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Produce digital advertisements aligned with campaign goals.
- Set and manage campaigns based on CPM, reach, impressions, and click‑through targets.
- Manage Sandvik Canada’s social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
- Develop and execute both paid and organic strategies for each platform.
- Create channel‑appropriate content, writing compelling copy, sourcing visuals, and scheduling posts.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and interaction—responding appropriately to comments.
- Serve as the brand usage approver for Sales Area Canada; ensure all materials comply with Sandvik brand guidelines.
- Create and modify documents, advertisements, and imagery to align with brand standards.
- Track, create, and publish internal success stories for the Sandvik intranet.
What you will bring along:
- Ability to travel within Canada and internationally as required (5–10%).
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English (bilingual English/French is an asset).
- Advanced skills in social media management and marketing automation tools.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Highly independent, requiring minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to collaborate with remote teams.
- Experience supervising and directing contractors.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing Communications or similar roles.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in social media and digital marketing programs.
- Experience coordinating or managing events and trade shows.
- Experience using marketing platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Falcon, Pardot, or Hootsuite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, English, or a related discipline (preferred).
Environmental Health and Safety:
- Adhere to Sandvik’s Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
- Attend all required safety training and wear mandatory PPE when visiting Sandvik or customer facilities.
