Your mission
Step into a strategic leadership role where marketing meets transformation. As Marketing and Communications Director, you lead divisional and business unit marketing strategies, ensuring alignment across teams and geographies. You guide and support dedicated marketing teams, drive product positioning, and oversee internal and external communications. You’re the voice of our automation technologies—both inside Sandvik and out in the global marketplace.
Expect to:
- Shape and execute marketing strategies that support business goals.
- Lead product launches, events, and creation of brand-consistent assets.
- Collaborate across functions—from product management to sales—to amplify our message.
- Represent the division confidently in global forums and communications.
- Track performance and share insights that drive smarter decisions.
- This role reports to the Vice President of Automation and is part of the Business Unit Management Team.
This role is preferably based in Tampere, Brisbane, or Montreal, with flexibility for travel and hybrid work arrangements.
Your profile
Bringing a strong foundation in marketing, business, or engineering, you’ve led commercial strategies across complex organizations. You understand the mining industry and the power of digital transformation. Your experience spans customer-focused roles, digital marketing tools, and strategic leadership. You speak and write in English on a native level.
You’re a strategic thinker who connects dots across teams and disciplines. You lead with clarity, inspire collaboration, and know how to turn insights into action. You’re curious, confident, and passionate about innovation. And you thrive in a global, fast-paced environment where your ideas can shape the future.
