Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading, and hauling and materials handling.
JOB PURPOSE
The Pricing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to support strategic pricing decisions
- Review and approve pricing within established guidelines
- Monitor and report on pricing performance and profitability
- Coordinate with sales teams to support quote development and ensure pricing accuracy
- Assist in the creation of pricing policies and guidelines
- Maintain pricing databases and documentation
- Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and margin improvement
- Provide pricing support for bids, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and industry regulations
- Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of pricing changes
- Support training initiatives on pricing tools, systems, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT to enhance and troubleshoot pricing systems and databases
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or data analysis.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
