In this role you will be required to:

  • Event Strategy: Supports the development and implementation of the SANCE event strategy and activities aligned with the global and local marketing plan to support the business priorities within the Local Business Plans
  • Event Management:
    • Develop concept, plan, and coordinate prioritized external customer events (In-person, virtual, hybrid)
    • Act as event coordinator and as a liaison between Sales, Center & Training Teams; Offer Management, SANCE Field Marketing, Global Marketing, external vendors and event partners, ensuring alignment, effective communication between all stakeholders
    • Coordinate with marketing team to secure appropriate resources and activities are planned for driving the prior, during and post event communication
    • Define event goals to measure and evaluate success of events per plan and budget; secure a clear L2S process is in place to generate leads during and post-event and it is well aligned with key stakeholders
    • Manage logistics for events, including ordering and shipping of display materials, marketing collateral and giveaways; set up and managing online event registration if needed
    • Manage relationship with event management company, including schedule, cost management, inventory control, production, reporting and other activities
    • Review and negotiate vendor contracts for required goods and services (lodging, transportation, catering, giveaways, etc.)
    • Assist with onsite support for prioritized events where appropriate
    • Secure brand identity at events, including co-branding where appropriate
  • Sandvik Coromant Center
    • supports activities related to customer events & trainings in our Centers from a customer experience perspective
    • Co-ordinates the SCC training offer promotion and produces content for the online promotion
    • Supports the Center and training team in the production of the trainings programme brochure
  • VIP customer events: Supports the planning and organization of VIP customer visits to Sweden in line with budget, act as a coordinator and liaison between Sales and SCC Sandviken, including ownership of marketing qualified lead generation.
  • Tradeshows: part of the project team, supports and coordinates the overall activities in planning and conducting Tradeshows in our Sales Area working in close collaboration with sales and other functions
  • Budget & cost control: Ensure that planned and executed activities are carried out within the budget frame
  • Develop and execute customer surveys, capturing customer feedbacks from events and trainings
  • Secure that sustainability is an integral part and considered in the development of the concept and later on in the production of materials needed.


  • Thorough knowledge and strong skills in event management
  • Digital mindset, intuitive and creative thinking
  • Strong communication skills in Polish and English, both written and verbal, additional language skills in other language is an advantage e.g. German
  • Project/time management and organizational skills. Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient way
  • Software: Microsoft O365, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), event management software, Google Analytics, Power BI, marketing automation (Marketo preferred),
  • Team player: ability to work within a cross-border marketing team and other departments
  • Strong learning drive
  • Event management experience
  • Experience in an international company with a complex multi-cultural matrix environment is a plus
  • Proven track record in delivering good business results
