Production Assistant
Join our Operations team as a Production Assistant and take an active role in building and maintaining high-quality equipment. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where safety, precision, and continuous improvement matter.
What You’ll Do
- Complete production order checklists accurately before manufacturing.
- Operate injection moulding, rubber moulding and/or casting machinery safely and efficiently.
- Meet daily/shift production quotas across all manufacturing processes.
- Inspect, finish and quality‑check all manufactured items to required standards.
- Accurately make panels, parts, boxes and packs according to production orders.
- Perform intermediate die setting, basic troubleshooting and support tooling changes.
- Use precision measuring instruments and operate equipment such as laser engravers and panel cutters.
- Safely handle, store and set up tools, including during multi‑machine operation.
- Report and record manufacturing issues, defects or process deviations.
- Communicate job‑specific information to the next shift, including quality or processing requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in production or workshop operations (6+ months preferred).
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Confidence using hand tools like grinders, sanders, and rattle guns.
