Your mission
In this position, by reporting to the Division President, you will lead and develop our global supply chain and manufacturing strategy and execution to meet our profitability, growth targets and outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll set the strategic direction and tactics for our supply chain and manufacturing, and make sure we act and set the manufacturing and sourcing footprint in line with globally set Division ambition. Working in collaboration and proactively, you’re able to find together with your team new opportunities for productivity, performance excellence, quality and safety improvements.

You will lead and develop all our operational activities in Division Supply Chain (e.g. EHS, Quality, S&OP and factory planning, Production, Sourcing, Operational excellence) with Division level KPI follow-up and improvement action implementation. You will participate in new product introduction and ramp up planning and work with the R&D and product lines, develop alternatives for supply components, cost optimization and leveraging modularization principles where possible. You will develop a resilient and efficient supplier base and track key supplier sourcing performance indicators, including cost trends, delivery and quality performance. Leading the supply chain teams to attract, engage, develop and retain talented employees as well as develop long-term resourcing strategies is the key to success.

The location for this position is at our Division headquarters in Tampere, Finland. Essential travel is part of your assignment.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of driving a successful global supply chain and manufacturing functions to aim for profitable business growth with customer focus. You have extensive work experience from global operations’ strategies and large-scale transformations. We also believe you need knowledge of the manufacturing of technology products as well as hands-on experience of developing plans, driving high performance and ways of working to meet our Division growth and profitability ambitions. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English.

With your excellent leadership, co-operation and communication skills, you engage, lead and develop your team to set ambitious targets and commitment to meet expectations. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion and curiosity to explore new possibilities, and you constantly keep an eye on development and continuous improvements.
