The Production Planner will primarily have the responsibility for supporting operations in all Aftermarket planning activities in line with demand & supply chain. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the role will be responsible for working closely with the relevant Supply chain functions to plan and schedule work in accordance with the sales demand to support the business strategy
Firstly, you will ensure a safe working environment abiding by all necessary health and safety requirements and legislation and promote a proactive safe working environment. It is important to provide a strong production planning support function to all areas ensuring continuity and efficiency of production, highlighting any potential issues that will affect the completion dates of Aftermarket orders and, in turn, customer delivery dates. The Aftermarket Production Planner is responsible to ensure that all orders are planned effectively to optimize production capacity and material availability. They will liaise with all departments within the Supply function, making sure all work is scheduled on the ERP system in an efficient and timely manner. Maintaining the production schedule is a priority ensuring that any risks and deviations to plan are quickly identified to allow any/all remedial actions to be taken. The Production Planner will look to identify and implement process improvements that lead to a smoother streamlined workflow.
While the Aftermarket Production Planner will be primarily responsible for Aftermarket Production Planning, they will also be required to provide cover as required for equipment planning.
Your time will be spent at the Ballygawley site
Essential Criteria
- 2 years previous relevant experience in a production planning environment
- Knowledge of the fundamental scheduling principles and practices
- Understanding of basic production, operational and supply chain principles and practices
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Strong planning and organizational skills to provide accurate information to stakeholders
- Excellent Communicator. Clear and concise communication skills
- Fluency in English.
- Customer focused approach
Desirable
- Previous experience with MRP is preferred

- Ability to work flexibly to meet demanding deadlines
