Operations Field Support – Alice Springs, NT (FIFO from Brisbane, Darwin or Perth)
About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and customer focused individual for the role of Operations Field Support. The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of the role, which involves the daily service as part of a team at a Sandvik Rock Tools Contract site.
The role is based at our client mine site in the Northern Territory and will see you engaged in direct customer service and Rock Tools operational activities. We are open to considering applications for this FIFO position from QLD, NT and WA.
Roster: 15 days on and 13 days off (13.5hr days)
Areas of responsibility:
Managing drilling consumables inventories to drill sites
Undertaking daily deliveries and stock replenishment to sites (Underground and Surface)
Undertaking deliveries and stock replenishment to site surface lay down yards and underground
Analysing and reporting on drilling consumable performance, condition, and failures
Positively engaging with our client’s mining operators
Administration of Products Usage and Contract Requirements
EHS Requirements
Repairs and reconditioning of hammers
Timely data entry and record keeping
About you
We are looking for a FIFO or local candidate who holds a valid manual C Class driver’s license and demonstrates reliability for a FIFO roster. You will have the ability to pass a police clearance and bring a strong customer focus with a positive service orientation and attitude. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
You should have a strong and proven safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service focus.
Basic computer literacy is required. Additionally, you must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
