Production Operator 1st Shift

About the role:
Buffalo Tungsten is seeking a production operator to support our powder production business. As a production operator, you will operate production furnaces, work in the spray room and conduct activities related to the manufacturing process such as operating machinery, keeping accurate records, operating a forklift, complete work orders and packing materials for shipment.
This role will be based at our site in Buffalo (Depew), New York.
Schedule
Work schedule is 6 days on followed by 2 days off – days off change from one week to the next (e.g. week 1 Sunday and Monday off, week 2 Monday and Tuesday off, etc.)
Your Background & Profile:

- Be able to stand or walk most of the day
- Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances
- Can follow procedures and maintain accurate records
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficial

Starting Pay Range: $18.75 to 24.00/hour based on experience
