Key performance areas
Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs. Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment to include, but not limited to, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, and environmental health and safety guidelines. Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Additionally, the Maintenance Technician is responsible to:
Clear clogged drains and replace fixtures.
Assist in maintaining and replacing defective parts using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, hoists, and cranes.
Support the adjustment of functional parts, devices, and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings using rags, brushes, grease guns, and oil.
Replace machine belts.
Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment listed in PM Pro and address repairs requested in the maintenance log.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your profile
Able to legally work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Have a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ professional related work experience.
Able to cooperate with different functions/ personalities to keep everybody aligned.
Self-driven and organized to meet deadlines.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize tasks/projects based on business needs.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Follow instructions and processes to perform the functions of the job.
Function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.
