Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

Key performance areas

As the Warranty Manager you will be responsible for handling warranty cases within the given time specifications. This role will interface with relevant departments as part of warranty process to resolve issues.

Additional Warranty Manager responsibilities:

  • Initiate credit notes in conjunction with the financial controller
  • Manage warranties according to cost and WIP targets
  • Facilitate information flow between product area and service team
  • Create monthly reports to the direct reporting positions and global warranty process owner
  • Interface with relevant departments to support MySandvik & CRM users
  • Publish bulletins and maintain tracking
  • Creates Warranty Registration Cards in equipment database
  • Handle Policy Settlements
  • Interface with customers and dealers
  • Manage at least 1 person to help handle claims
  • Create monthly reporting on warranty status by customer

Your profile

You possess an Associate Degree in a technical or business field or minimum two years’ experience in warranty administration in construction or mining industry. Experience in other areas of the construction and/or mining industry.

Warranty Manager should possess:

  • Detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and be part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have willingness to learn and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications at the intermediate or higher level
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), SAP
  • General heavy equipment knowledge

This position will report to the Business Line Manager Parts & Service

This position will be based in one of our branches (Atlanta, White Pine TN, Elko NV or Billings MT)
