We are currently seeking a Summer Student – Legal Assistant for a one‑month internship to support our Legal & Compliance function. In this role, you will contribute to efficient organizational processes by supporting contract management, documentation control, compliance tasks, and general administrative activities within a dynamic commercial environment.

This internship is ideal for a motivated 1st year law student looking to gain hands‑on, practical experience in corporate legal and compliance operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the Legal & Compliance function with administrative support tasks.
  • Assist with contract management, compliance checks, and general corporate legal matters.
  • Provide administrative support in budget tracking, invoice processing, meeting coordination, and event support.
  • Support meeting management activities, including scheduling, agendas, minute taking, and action‑item tracking.
  • Contribute to improving work processes by using efficient tools and supporting cross-functional coordination.
  • Help enhance process documentation and organizational structure within the department.

What you will bring along:

  • Current enrollment in a law program (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent).
  • Good analytical and research skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Interest in contract review, compliance, or corporate law (an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Environmental Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to Sandvik’s Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
  • Attend required EHS training sessions.
  • Wear all mandatory PPE when visiting Sandvik or customer facilities.
