Supply Chain Planner

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. In business we engineer and manufacture industry leading hydraulic hammers and other hydraulic attachments for maximum productivity.

We are now looking for an active & experienced Supply Chain Planner to join us in Attachment Tools Division. This is a new permanent position based in Lahti where Sandvik has a manufacturing unit for hydraulic hammers.

Your mission

As a Supply Chain Planner you are responsible about the inventory planning in factory and distribution centers in our Attachment Tools division. You also provide support within the areas of S&OP process, demand/supply planning and supply chain development to improve customer service and material flow. To be more specific, you:

  • Ensure products availability through steering our stock control parameters
  • Optimize supply paths in collaboration with the wider organization
  • Support monthly S&OP process
  • Monitor and report relevant KPIs
  • Participate and lead supply chain development projects

Your background and what we find important

We’re looking for a supply chain professional with 2-5 years hands-on experience from production planning, as well as material and inventory control. You have a University degree in a related field, preferably a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Management. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and factory physics as well as project lead skills is seen as an advantage. You are a skilled user of ERP-systems, Excel and BI tools. Communicating fluently in Finnish and in English is mandatory.

As a person, you are truly analytical with problem-solving approach. You are also an appreciated team player – very skilled at collaborating and connecting with people, and you know how to easily communicate information.
