Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the inventory department, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

  • Ensure that all inventory records are accurate and up to date.

  • Oversee a team of inventory employees, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of inventory operations, utilizing innovative solutions to improve processes.

  • Coordinate with other departments, such as planning, production and purchasing to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.

  • Maintain a safe and clean inventory environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the department.

  • Manage inventory reports and provide analysis to management as needed.

  • Troubleshoot inventory issues and implement corrective actions to identify and address issues in a timely manner.

  • Continuously monitor and improve inventory processes and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly interactive environment

  • Adheres to tight and strict deadlines while maintaining quality and integrity of the product

  • Teamwork, cooperation, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Education Level:

  • HS Diploma

Job Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant experience and/or training in inventory management

  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the department.

Skills/Special Training Required to Effectively Perform the Job:

  • Epicor

  • Management and Leadership Skills

  • Microsoft Suite

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Troubleshoot inventory issues and implement corrective actions
