The role

Due to a strong start and continuous growth in 2023 Sandvik’s Perth Workshop has multiple opportunities for Service Technicians to join our Components Rebuild team.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, in a challenging and busy environment you will be required to:

  • Disassemble, inspect, and assemble various Sandvik Mining equipment components
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals and OEM sources
  • Maintain the workshop area to a high standard of housekeeping and organization
  • Use of Sandvik Online Component reporting systems to compile reports

The role is permanent full time and based at our brand-new workshop based in Kenwick and an excellent opportunity for a tradesman who is looking for a long-term career in mining.

Available Shifts:

  • Day: 6am – 4pm (10 hours per day, paid lunch break), Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon: 2pm – 12pm, (10 hours per shift, paid break) Monday to Thursday + additional night shift uplift

Your profile

  • Relevant Trade Qualification (desired)
  • Previous experience working on a variety of components, Construction / Mobile Mining equipment
  • Good attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on safety

You must have Australian working rights.

You must have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks.
