Customer Service Supervisor

Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

Key performance areas

As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will understand and satisfy customers' requirements by providing help and advice to customers using your organization’s products or services. You will be expected to communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letters, and face to face meetings, while keeping ahead of developments in customer service by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending courses.

Your responsibilities are likely to increase as you gain more experience and qualifications.

Additionally, the Customer Service Supervisor will:

  • Prepare and manage staff schedules

  • Manage staff in high input positions

  • Be responsible for customer service messaging to our customers

  • Continue aftermarket support for customers and dealers

  • Increase revenue through excellent customer service and inside sales Report and analyze results and trends relating to spare parts.

Your profile

The Customer Service Supervisor should possess a Bachelor’s degree with three to five years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of the relevant industry is required along with strong customer service focus. The ability to work as part of an integrated team and be self-motivated is highly recommended. The qualified candidate will demonstrate effective customer relations, active listening skills, above average Excel and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
