Job Summary

Due to Workshop expansion, we are currently looking for mechanics from all industries (ex. light vehicle, agriculture, small motor, component fitter and turner, etc) to join our busy workshop team in Kewdale on either day or afternoon shift.

The main focus of the Service Technician is to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents.

  • General workshop duties

  • Brand new machinery to customers all over Australia

  • Complete machine rebuilds

  • Component rebuilds (stripping / building rock drills)

  • Support the latest technology including our autonomous machinery, battery electric and remote monitoring

Day shift runs from 6am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

Afternoon shift runs from 3pm to 1am, Monday to Thursday (4 days on, 3 days off)

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant trade qualification

  • Experience in a similar environment

  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to positively influence others

  • Computer literacy with Microsoft suite and ERP’s

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
