Due to Workshop expansion, we are currently looking for mechanics from all industries such as light vehicle, agriculture, defense force, small motor, marine, fitter and turner qualification etc. to join our afternoon shift workshop team in Perth.
The main focus of the Service Technician is to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents.
General workshop duties include working in a team to deliver:
Brand new machinery to customers all over Australia
Complete machine rebuilds
Support the latest technology including our autonomous machinery, battery electric and remote monitoring
This position is for our afternoon shift which runs from 3pm to 1am on 4 days on 3 days off roster.
Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
Demonstrated supervisory experience in a mechanical workshop environment (desirable)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to positively influence others
Computer literacy with Microsoft suite and ERP’s
The right to work in Australia
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
