Sales and Marketing Manager for the Controlled Expansion Alloys Group

At the Sandvik Osprey site located in Neath, South Wales, world leading highly advanced materials are produced for a wide range of applications. The two main products manufactured by Sandvik Osprey are Controlled Expansion (CE) Alloys and metal powders. It’s an exciting time to join the CE Alloys team, as a company we are in a period of expansion and growth and we are looking for talented individuals to help us on that journey to drive sales of our unique, cutting edge products into exciting markets such as space and aerospace.


As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will have a strategic focus on shaping the future growth of the business through sales, product development and the discovery of new product applications. You will attend conferences and exhibitions, customer visits, build relationships and provide key account management. In addition, responsibilities, will include: -

  • Identifying areas and applications where CE Alloys can add value; engage and successfully onboard those customers.
  • Managing and continually improving the customer experience
  • Coordinating customer visits
  • Developing market share, competitor activity and market intelligence reports for key product and application sectors.
  • Representing the company at regional and global conferences.
  • Reporting of sales figures, margin analysis, forecasts and planned sales activities.
  • Managing projects focusing on product and or market development.


You will have enthusiasm, drive and be passionate about cutting edge technology, advanced materials and customer service. You must have a proven track record within a technical sales role. Strong presentation and communication skills. Must be willing to travel globally on a regular basis. In return we can offer you the chance grow and develop with our company.
