To Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions we’re now looking for a Global Sales Competence Development Manager to join us in a key role in enabling competence expansion that increases our agility, team performance, individual growth, and employee satisfaction!

We offer you a broad role working within areas such as Business Development and Growth, People Management, Operations and Personal Leadership. The location for this position is at the World Trade Center in Stockholm.

What you will do

As our Competence Development Manager, you identify, create, and implement training programs to meet the needs of our business. You evaluate training program effectiveness and implement improvements, you also develop programs and initiatives to secure future talents and competencies – with your creativity and pedagogical skills, you implement clear career paths and opportunities for our employees. You work with the development of competences such as customer focus, way of selling and the selling process.

Within Business Development and Growth, you provide managers with effective techniques with the purpose of attracting, retaining, and developing the workforce for current as well as future needs and you’re engaged in the regional business strategy development with implication on human capital. When it comes to People Management, you ensure implementation of Sandvik Global and Regional processes in addition to develop, coach and proactively support managers in their roles and work in performance management systems, processes and change initiatives. As our ambassador and marketer of “Employee Experience” across SMR you’re an important asset in enhancing and having a positive significant impact in the employee experience.

What you need to succeed

We’re looking for someone with experience in Value-Consultative Sales, in the Mining and Construction Industry and in working with competence development on a global scale who is used to facilitating training. It’s a big plus if you’ve worked with online training. You know your way in Office 365 and are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing, other languages are beneficial.

Your personal qualities are important to us - you’re a communicative, ambitious, and business-minded person who’s comfortable standing in front of an audience. You’re flexible and comfortable operating in both administrative- and visionary work. You’re passionate and eager to create new ways of working and with your brilliant inventiveness and curiosity, you’re a valuable asset to our company!
