Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completeness, correctness and timeliness in financial processes and supporting compliance to financial rules and regulations;
  • Analyze results and key KPIs on a regular basis and share in the management team, both past performance as well as forecasts;
  • Benchmark best practices among Dormer Pramet Production units and other relevant functions within Operations;
  • Drive process development projects within any of our financial processes: actual results, forecasts, long-term outlooks and target setting, investment process, product costing setting and analysis;
  • In new Enterprise Resource Planning system development project, be the Business Process Expert for production controlling;
  • Develop key users within each process/system combination to ensure helplines are in place for the global organization, support with making guidelines and trainings available and spreading best practice;
  • Lead via dotted lines the business control functions within the Operations area, especially PU controllers;
  • Proactively participate in the development of business control and performance management at Dormer Pramet and lead this within Operations;
  • Responsible for following Sandvik guidelines and compliance;
  • Internal process control in his area of responsibility;
  • Assure Sandvik leadership model and health and safety in its area.

Experience and required competencies:

  • Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting and Costing, especially in a manufacturing environment;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Advanced knowledge in budget, financial analysis, and costs;
  • Business Understanding: Applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives;
  • Functional knowledge: Requires in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines;
  • Leadership: Leading employees. Manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges in accordance with the Sandvik Leadership Model;
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and/or organizational problems;
  • Communication: Guides, influences and persuades others either internally in other externally;
  • Continuous improvement: Review, improve and develop methods, tools, and processes;
  • Explore opportunities to share best practices within your own function;
  • EHS: Accountable for environment, health, and safety as per local legislation, policies, etc.


  • Relevant University Degree in Finance/Accountant related areas;
  • Desirable post graduation in Accounting, business administration, and/or economy.
