Let’s talk about the job

Being responsible for the acquisition of customers and introducing and implementing complex lean and productivity projects within the sales area, you ensure further development of our service sales portfolio and that we differentiate ourselves from our competitors and support the SACE markets on various requests. With the aim to increase sales, you take lead in high level sales and in presenting results and discussing these with top management of customers. Supporting customers with their change process, you conduct initial value-stream-analysis to develop a project-offer which suits the customer-needs, and you follow up with workshops, trainings and consultancy. Other important parts of your mission are to ensure high quality and latest updates of data and information on all sales activities and to create and monitor structured and clear lean project results.

Collaboration and sharing your experience and knowledge are keys to success in this job, and you maintain an active role within the global lean network to achieve common goals aligned with Sandvik Coromant’s strategy and business needs.

The main location for the position is Düsseldorf with an option for a flexible location within the German speaking part of the Sales Area. During normal circumstances, the job requires frequent domestic and international travel.

What about you?

Naturally, the customer is in your heart, and the one we’re looking for is someone skilled at liaising with all levels of an organization as well as making presentations to these groups. You have several years’ professional experience and practical orientation in engineering environment, with deep knowledge in process planning, manufacturing and assembly. We also expect a degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in mechanical or production engineering or equivalent education as a technician in the field of manufacturing technology with focus on machining, You have value-stream analytics and design experience and very good knowledge in implementing production and logistic topics as well as developing production strategies. Programming skills and experience of REFA/MTM is preferred, and you have a holistic understanding of “Toyota Production System”. Further, you easily handle digital tools for collaboration and show great communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. It would be an advantage if you are also capable of Dutch. For this job, you also need a valid drivers license.

You can also combine analytical results with real world situations, and you confidently communicate this in a motivating and inspiring manner, no matter the audience.
