Your mission
You design, build, and evolve the backend foundations of ToolHive, our next‑generation SaaS Tool Management product. As part of our Cloud Tech organization, you work hands-on with backend services, cloud infrastructure, and integration patterns while shaping engineering standards and architectural practices.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend services for cloud‑native SaaS solutions, with reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency in mind.
- Design APIs, data models, and integration interfaces for a modular system landscape.
- Use AI tools and automation to accelerate development workflows and improve code quality.
- Drive adoption of AI‑supported development standards and identify opportunities for AI‑enabled product features.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CRA.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX, and cross‑functional teams, while supporting developers through troubleshooting and optimization.
This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden or Tübingen, Germany.
Your profile
You’ve got strong experience in backend development using modern languages and frameworks such as .NET, C#, containerization, optional, knowledge in Node.js. You understand cloud-native architectures and services, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP, and you know how to design APIs, microservices, and distributed systems with scalability and security in mind. You’re eager to push AI-enabled engineering forward and have practical experience with AI-supported development tools.
You bring:
- Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance-oriented development.
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML components into SaaS products.
- Experience in agile, product-oriented environments with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for modern engineering craftsmanship.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You’re a team player who communicates clearly, takes responsibility, and enjoys learning new technologies. You work independently, stay curious, and bring a proactive mindset to every challenge.
