Enterprise Architect – Technology

About the job

In this role, you define and drive the enterprise-wide technology architecture direction for Mining, ensuring that decisions across applications, platforms, integration, and infrastructure are coherent, scalable, and aligned with long-term business strategy. Working closely with the IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Lead and other enterprise architects, you translate enterprise intent into concrete architectural direction, principles, and governance. You prepare high-quality, signature-ready decision material for senior stakeholders and lead alignment on key technology architecture topics.

Job responsibilities

  • Assess and challenge major initiatives and solution designs for alignment with target architecture
  • Identify and address structural technology risks, including fragmentation, duplication, and technical debt
  • Provide authoritative architectural guidance to ensure consistent and scalable outcomes across the landscape
  • Enable pragmatic execution, ensuring that technology investments contribute to a deliberate and sustainable target architecture

Location

You're based in Stockholm (Sweden), Tampere (Finland), or Dublin (Ireland).

Your profile

You’re a senior enterprise technology architect with a proven ability to define and drive architecture direction at enterprise level. You independently structure complex topics and translate strategy into clear architectural decisions and outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with pragmatic execution, confidently challenge existing solutions, and guide stakeholders toward aligned, sustainable outcomes in a complex environment.

To succeed, you bring:

  • Experience across applications, platforms, integration, and infrastructure domains
  • Solid understanding of IT strategy and digital business capabilities
  • Ability to balance long-term architectural coherence with pragmatic delivery realities
  • Experience from large-scale transformation programs and/or platform modernization initiatives
  • A relevant education
  • Fluency in English
