Product Owner – Finance Digital & IT Solutions

Shortly about us
You’ll join our IT for Group Functions team, responsible for driving IT and digitalization for Sandvik’s corporate functions such as HR, Communication, Legal, and Finance. We manage application portfolios, lead digital transformation, and support our group functions in shaping their roadmaps. Acting as trusted advisors, we help with IT security, vendor selection, and business development initiatives.
The role
You lead the development and implementation of digital solutions for our finance organization. Acting as a strategic partner, you identify opportunities for digitalization, ensure seamless integration of new technologies, and drive initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability.
What you’ll do
- Drive digital initiatives from concept to execution using agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Monitor and measure impact, reporting progress to senior management.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Lead change management and foster adoption of digital tools.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and stay within budget.
Location
This position is based in Stockholm or Sandviken.
Your profile
You have a strong foundation in IT and digital technologies, backed by a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience leading digital transformation initiatives within large organizations is essential. You have a deep understanding of finance-related processes, technologies such as cloud, data analytics, AI/ML, and IoT, along with experience in change management practices and strategic planning.
You have strong leadership and collaboration skills – engaging with stakeholders effectively, listening actively, and adapting to different perspectives. Being tech savvy and communicative, you present complex ideas clearly. A solution-oriented mindset and innovative thinking help you stay focused on delivering measurable business value through digital solutions.
