Briefly about the job
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA and related solutions (such as Ariba) to enable efficient procurement processes and sourcing strategies. This position ensures seamless integration of procurement workflows with finance and supply chain, while maintaining compliance and optimizing the user experience across the organization
You will report to the IT Delivery Manager, Finance and preferably located in Pune, India. We are open to other locations for the right candidate. Travel to other Sandvik or customer sites is expected.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field, along with a strong background in of SAP MM, SRM, and Ariba modules. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Sourcing and Procurement domain.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and process experts to gather requirements for sourcing and procurement processes and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure and maintain SAP MM (Materials Management) and Ariba modules to support sourcing and procurement activities.
- Work closely with technical teams and other SAP functional experts to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP ERP and the Ariba Network for data consistency and process automation.
- Provide expert-level support for SAP MM and Ariba, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Assist with UAT, conduct training sessions, and facilitate knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SRM, and Ariba modules (Sourcing, Buying, Contracts).
- Experience with SAP-Ariba integration and related middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO or CPI).
- Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
- Familiarity with indirect and direct procurement categories.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 5+ years in SAP MM and Ariba functional roles.
- Experience in global implementation or rollout projects is a plus.
