At Sandvik and our Rock Processing business area, IT is more than infrastructure – it’s the foundation for innovation and growth. Our global IT team ensures stability and security for thousands of users, enabling digital transformation across multiple regions. Collaboration is key, and you’ll work with specialists in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business operations to deliver solutions that make a real impact.
Your mission
As IT Infrastructure Lead, you take charge of planning, building, and operating a secure and compliant IT environment for Rock Processing globally. Acting as a bridge between technology and business, you ensure alignment across teams, drive initiatives, and lead projects that enhance performance and resilience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating global IT operations for infrastructure and digital security.
- Onboarding newly acquired companies into our IT landscape.
- Overseeing risk mitigation, continuity planning, and proactive monitoring.
- Assessing infrastructure solutions and approving IT projects.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards, governance, and documentation.
- Monitoring service delivery, SLAs, and incident reporting.
The position is based in Malmö, Sweden, with flexibility for hybrid work. You report directly to the Head of Application Management and collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions.
Your profile
You bring a strong foundation in IT infrastructure – servers, networks, databases – and experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Solid knowledge of cybersecurity practices and familiarity with ERP systems is essential. Proficiency in automation tools and ITIL frameworks adds value, and experience in leadership or project management helps you drive initiatives and navigate complex environments.
Success in this role comes from being structured, proactive, and solution-oriented. You communicate clearly, build trust across teams, and thrive in a collaborative setting. Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset are key, as you balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
