IT Service Coordinator
Do you thrive in an environment where you can grow together with others? We’re now looking for a driven and curious IT Service Coordinator to join our Country IT Scandinavia team within the Machining business area segment at Sandvik. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to develop, take responsibility, and contribute to creating value across the entire organization!
Some words about your new team
We’re a committed and positive team with a strong sense of unity even though we’re spread across several different sites in Sweden. With a shared drive to deliver world-class IT services we lead improvement initiatives, develop our services, and collaborate closely with both the business and our suppliers. There’s always room for new ideas and learning, and you become a vital part of our agile team.
About the job
As IT Service Coordinator, you take responsibility for one or more service areas within our IT delivery. You manage communication and delivery towards the business, follow up on development areas, and support your colleagues in the team. With many internal and external touchpoints, you focus on stakeholder and customer demands to ensure we’re working on the right things when moving forward. You also set requirements for external suppliers.
The role includes working with projects, structuring and developing processes, and contributing to the high quality of our IT services. You provide operational support, keep an eye on industry trends, and initiate new activities. You also represent Sweden in the agile teams within Country IT Europe. It’s a varied and rewarding role where you truly get to make an impact.
This role is based in Sandviken, Sweden.
About you
You’ve completed upper secondary education and have a strong interest in IT and technology. Additional education or experience in the field is a plus. You bring experience from projects, service, or a coordinating role within IT – perhaps you’ve worked with similar tasks for a couple of years. You’re comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite, and experience with ServiceNow is an advantage. Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required.
You’re service-minded, sociable, and great at building strong collaborations – both within the team and with the business. A structured and proactive approach helps you identify improvement areas and drive development forward. Curiosity and the ability to thrive in change are key, along with a good sense of what’s happening around you and the ability to spot needs and opportunities. Most importantly, you’re eager to grow and ready to take the next step in your career.
